Vesperman Farms now offers pick-your-own strawberries along with picked-fresh-for-you strawberries.

Pick-Your-Own:  Come out to the farm to hand-pick the ripest berries you can find. You bring the buckets for picking and containers to take them home while we provide the strawberry patch.  We recommend that you arrive between 6am and 8am to pick during the coolest time of the day for best results.  Call ahead to reserve a time-slot.  (608) 723-2542    

Picked-Fresh-For-You: Strawberries are picked and delivered to you on the same day.  Make a reservation to pick-up your strawberries from Vesperman Farms (Lancaster, WI). 

Strawberry Care

• Cool berries as quickly as possible after picking.

• Do not wash or hull the berries until you are ready to eat or prepare them.

• Our strawberrys are best if they are eaten within a few days of picking.

• Pick berries early in the morning when it is cool. This is better for the berries and the pickers. 

•  Bring containers to take your berries home. Large flat containers, like cake pans, work best.
